Very surprized Atomic that you don't know that full cap is £2.1 million. If Leigh were not able to spend that then what was the point of the Super league application? Without spending full cap we need the players to play above themselves in every game throughout the season.

What makes you think we aren’t paying full cap - Peats is a marquee signing so big bucks, Atomic can prove that

If you compare the Leigh squad with the Saints or Warrington squad it would be alarming if the spend on Leigh players was anything close.

They had the majority of players on contracts for the champ, no idea if those contracts have been improved due to the the circumstances- but as they were already full time contracts I doubt it



In all honesty I don’t think we are anywhere near the full cap - I was being a bit sarcy, but at the same time do you want us to just sign players on extortionate contracts



If players are available the club seems seems to be able to give them a gig, not sure what more you want

I wrote earlier referring as to why we did not sign Josh Jones or Ryan Hall, two players from squads which are our relegation competitors. Those players were available for our competitors to sign why did we not sign them? In my honest opinion it is a big mistake to save cap for later in the season unless we are unable to spend it.

Valid points. Possibly players who Leigh want are in waiting. Unavailable at present. A payable fee for Ben Reynolds shows there’s money available.

Atomic, we need to act now , because after 10 or so games it may be to late , folk keep saying we will beat Salford , Wakey , and Hull KR , but will we , nothing can be taken for granted .

Totally agree Charlie. We cant wait. We got a million in funding get it spent on players.
