Not seen many games Fred, but have to say this guy gives 110% every time I see him. Not particularly a Brierly who puts you on the edge of you seat - but the guy everyone wants in their team as a motivator who has the ability to match it.

The squad is getting a very good balance this season, and appears to be more to come next

Isn't it often the case though? Player joins us. Former employers fans come on here to gloat, and say "he was bobbins when he played for us, etc". Player gets some decent coaching, and what do you know *.....!!

In regard to beswick i agree completely with fred, (it does happen) bob has been a top signing.

Here, here re Beswick. 25 mins to go in the fax game, you see Beswick doubled over after a defensive stand near our line. He looks all in, then next play he's back at it doing the hard yards. This guy has been an inspiration this season, and seemed to really turn it on and step up on the field as a leader, when things looked dodgy and the players were being told they may not get paid.

he played three different roles the other game, started at half-back (hooker) moved to two out then played in the core, great effort from him in all positions too.

BB has had a fantastic year.

Put your tails away guys. You get me wrong, there were some Fax fans that did rate BB but I wasnt one of them. I just prefered Penky in the team rather than him.

Ive mentioned i would like to see Ridyard in a Fax shirt and wouldnt mind Penky back other than that Im not sure theres really anyone else that stands out that I have either mentioned or thought we should sign him.



I know Fax have spoke to a few Leigh players and there were a couple that were keen on coming but that is going to happen at this time of the year where players are allowed to speak to other teams.
