I didn't go to Sheffield but have seen the team play with varying styles this season.

I'd imagine PR will be looking at the opposition and playing to our strengths which at times means tailoring the better style of RL for a more direct style.

Most people like the entertaining RL and I'd say we have been playing some cracking stuff but at times we might need to go more bland / direct to get results.



I'd say we are still moving in the right direction on & off the field which is the main thing after a few years of instability.

Watch it on Centurions TV doesn't look like that to be honest.



Ref made a bad mistake in Sheffield's favour on about 38 minutes. Watch it. I am not making it up.

Was that the 'free play' non-advantage Frank? The TJ stood a yard forward of where Finnigan stepped into touch. He must have said the ball went into touch before the Sheffield player touched it. But my view is that he put his foot in touch after collecting the ball, and not where the TJ was stood, either.



Still, that's just one incident in hundreds, eh?

The Sheffield player picked it up in the field of play but had a foot on the touchline when he did hence the flag from the touch judge.



That means scrum down and Leigh put in but the ref got it wrong and the touch judge should have known too but obviously had a brainstorm or he would have corrected the decision' or should have.



I honestly think we are capable of winning there in the playoffs.



Having said that' on the night I think Sheffield deserved the win.

About 51 minutes on the video. Brierley kicks the ball over the line and is deliberately pushed out of the way by the Sheffield forward with the headband. He would have scored and we just got the penalty.



I have watched it 3 times just to be sure. Ah well next time.

Seems a bit strange pushing him with the headband.

I thought he would have scored at the time, but less sure after seeing it again. The ref has to be certain, to award the try, doesn't he?

A pen try was given in yesterdays Hull V KR match ,player kicked through went to touched down but was tackled before he reached the ball ,he would have definitely scored though as there were no other player's to defend .I haven't seen Brierly's yet .

Didn't Sheffield get a penalty try in the playoffs against us in 2011? IIRC Robbie hunter Paul was adjudged to have tackled here without the ball...
