Extra time was OK, we kicked off to Fax, and they never got out of their own half after that.
BUT the last few minutes WAS scary, twice we lost the ball a 'few' metres from our own line, which after the second occasion, on the last tackle, after a kick they got the equalizing penalty. I thought they were gonna score a try, but they didn't so Wemb-Leigh here we come !  |

Nowt to worry about crowd wise. TV money is an interesting one but even the losing money (if we get cheated, of course ) should make a huge difference financially. |

Ive been impressed by Tommy Gallagher all season, always runs the hard yards, looks to offload, backs up well, always seems to be among the first 2 or 3 chasing a kick, and every time he comes on he does seem to change the game, he certainly did today. All the lads were impressive today, 1 to 17, makes you proud to be a Leyther. What a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hearts just about got back down its normal rate. Congratulations, lads, a well deserved victory. |

This and last week shows we are not as good as we think we are especially our players! Its Fev then you for honours this season, we have no half backs they are average and we seem cursed by injuries we got anothr bad one today!
Well done you shaded it today imo, we had no ideas when we got the ball on your line twice with seconds to go, we will lick our wounds and we have to learn, a new half back would be good!
Not our turn this year maybe next? |
