Conspiracy theories abound again??????



Apprentice scheme started some 8 months ago, Community trust founded two weeks ago - all well 'documented'.



Leigh Centurions Community Department closed end of last season - no money-again well 'documented'.



Apprentice scheme closed last friday - no money to pay them - probably.



As for anything else I would suggest contacting Mr Freer as I dont think you will get an answer on here.

Not conspiracies Fred, just confusion, I was genuinely under the impression that the Foundation was an ' evolution ' of the apprentice scheme and would be the organisation that would provide the finances for it , if it isnt, then who is Duffs ' managing ' ?

The community dept, circa 2003/2011 run by Hannah Forbes did bring in a lot of grant funding, but it did cost the club money , how much is open to discussion

In truth Keith because of the way the club operates/operated everything goes into one pot and then everything gets paid out, the problem then arrises when there is nothing left and what is seen as either a luxury or unneccessary or unproductive ( in some eyes ) bill has to be paid, then things get confused and complcated

Keith I fail to see why you direct your questions and or statements at me the last time I checked I was just a poor speccy like others, I am just giving out news as I know it the answers you require can be given by one person as in my first reply, like others you mistake my answers as 'sticking up for people' instead of what they are, just statements as I know them.

I stayed away from this forum for a while due to others doing exactly what you are trying to do which is to twist my words and meanings to suit others campaigns, it looks like I will have to do so again.

You more than others know that unfortunately a Rugby Club like Leigh Centurions isn't perfect and that mistakes have always been made no matter who the custodians be. I would suggest if you think or know that any fraud has been committed the people you talk to be the Greater Manchester Police and or The Rugby Football League instead of veiled and not so veiled accusations on an open forum like this one.

People need to put past grudges and or perceived slights behind them and try and take the club forward instead of trying to ground it in old mud it neither assists nor encourages new investment and is damaging to the utmost degree.



So again I leave this forum for a while I will continue to try and make Leigh Centurions into a successful Rugby league club by giving up my time and energies in SUPPORTING ANY FUTURE REGIME no matter whom they be or what mistakes they may make for in the end the only place I'm really bothered about is what goes on on the green bit of the ground and not the politics behind it, petty squabbles and the attempted scoring of political points don't interest me, only the points on the scoreboard by the players be they Internationals or 'ham and eggers'. As for the rest of you go ahead and drown in the sludge of rumours and tickle tackle you are welcome to it. Bye Bye.

Is it me or are there some accusations being made on here which are borderline libelous. Some people are not satisfied with trying to remove the people at the top but they clearly want the club to die.



I am joining Fred and leaving what has become a horrible place to inhabit.

I m struggling to understand this accusation, why would me chairman be in a meeting involving the community dept and hear about grants being spent inccorrectly? as far as I know it's untrue as well.
