| I have stated in the past I have faith in Jukesy, now it's beginning to wane, we have a Coaching team of 3 who between then have a fair bit of experience yet we look lost at times , give to many penalties away ,and blame the Ref , Touch judges ,and anyone else at every opportunity, the ball was stripped from Burr , no doubt,as for the goal it looked like it missed however ,no use moaning,we are the worst disciplined side in SL the stats don't lie.
Our next 4 games are Hull away, Cas at home, Leeds away, Wigan at home very daunting ,as each game passes the pressure increases on Jukesy, do we wait or persevere till the end of the League games or the end of the middle 8s?I'm not sure, Saints had an instant response, and now Catalans have shown their Coach the door, the question at Widnes is will Betts last?Whoever comes in won't get us out of the bottom 4 so it's the middle 8s for us,personally I think Jukesy can lead us to safety there and keep us in SL, but what happens next year if he does?
To progress we may need a Coach with a proven track record, where from?I don't know.

| Three coaches yet we still played a new recruit on our left edge .Do they not watch videos of opposing teams 90% of Masilas trys come there and to bring a new player in who would only have trained with the team a few times was idiotic.Brown could have been left there for another game with either McNally or Reynolds at full back

Staying as is, or finding a new coach could each be seen as a gamble. But the worrying thing for me is the same things happening time after time. If we'd just been blown away yesterday I wouldn't have minded so much. But we get ourselves in a game and shoot ourselves in the foot. Then Jukes gives the same interview time and time again, giving little confidence that he knows how to get another win.

| He's lost the plot. Uses injuries as an excuse and chops and changes too much even when players aren't injured. Neil is not a Super League Manager and the fans on here who think he is are delusional.

| Great isn't it , all these RL geniuses that inhabit these pages , " we need this player dropping , we need that player dropping , why play him there , he shouldn't play here " and yet non can provide 1 single player , or coach who is available to come in to replace what we have , they all seem to know which players are injured or not ,
So come on all you tap room know it alls , who do you want to replace Jukesy with , in fact if you're that bloody clever , ring Dereck and ask to do the job yourself , obviously you're better than him
But you're not are you
We continue with who we have

| Don't get carried away Starbug, this is a just a forum - a place where people discuss things that are talked about every day in the pubs. That's the whole point of a forum - people exchange views, offer advice and sometimes argue just for the hell of it.
Calm down dear.

| I'm never a fan of a coach being sacked but our record is now dreadful and performances do need to change and change quickly as what we are now seeing is unacceptable.
I can take we are not getting any 50/50 calls and that has a small effect but equally I never see our on field leaders build a rapport or even slightly pressure the ref in a way O'loughlin, Hill, or a Kirmond does - losing Higham for his ability to chat with the ref as well as his undoubted on field skills has been massive and irreplaceable for us
I think some of our players need to look in the mirror as frankly what they are putting out is not acceptable, I was gutted at full time yesterday (and over £120.00 lighter for that feeling)yet some of our players was having a chit chat with the Salford lads and a laugh and a joke, they then come over to applaud the fans.
I appreciate that goes on in RL these days but I can't help but feel if Salford had lost 9 on the spin that they would have applauded the support and hit the sheds quickly and saved the personal chats for after they had spoke about what had gone wrong on the field.
Neils hand is held somewhat as we don't have a reserves / academy or any real chance to bring in fresh blood (I really hope we have ensured all this is in place for next season)and as we are seeing losing is a habit (just as last year winning was a habit), if players don't feel that hurt (some clearly do, others clearly don't) then your coach needs to take charge, waiting for the 8's to change things is a long wait and one I fear would cause more damage than good.
One thing I would ask is are we doing everything possible to get our injured players back, Smith had a broken leg at Saints yet they did everything possible to get him back as they saw a huge problem without him, I'm sure the club are but if there is anything that can be explored in sports science to get Higham and co back quicker then lets try it, our season is turning very sour.

I don't think anybody on here is applying for the job. But we can't keep losing games and just accepting it, there's going to be criticism, especially when unforced changes backfire like they did yesterday.

| Everybody who posts on this Forum is entitled to voice their opinion, whether they went to Newcastle, watched it on TV,read about it in the papers, or heard folk chatting in the Pub,as Mish rightly says this is a Forum for debate mostly on Rugby matters and whatever corner you are in either Pro or Against Jukesy you are entitled to have your say.
Myself I love Horse Racing, and have never sat on a horse in my life , but I know when a horse is a Frankel or a Dobbin,it's the same with Rugby you don't have to have played for GB to know when a team has played well or not.
Unfortunately we can't call on our youngsters to replace injuries,as we don't have a second team and have to rely on loans ,having said that was it right to let Riddy go on loan?Again I'm not sure who makes the decisions,we have around 9 games left to find out now our best 17 players, but I think we should concentrate now on the middle 8s,whether it's with Jukesy in charge,I'm not sure, the question is who would be ready to replace him?Though Catalans now have the same problem.

Jenky, I watched it on Sky, and couldn't say for certain if it went over the crossbar or not.
