We can't avoid it - all four games to be televised (two on Beeb, and two on SKY).....a full house at the LSV, plus TV money, plus prize money would suit us just fine!!

Mentioned Catalans away in another thread for selfish reasons, but seeing as I'm back in Leyth on this weekend, I'd be pretty livid if we get that draw.



Wire, Saints or Wigan home or away, or London at home for me.

Would want .......



1) London (Home), chance of a decent game if Londons current form continues, down side is that we would be expected to lose and might go out having had a small gate - our club would however need to work to sell the fixture and 'drum up' support so can see us still makiing some money

2) Wigan (Home), big payday, big derby



After that anyone at home.



Would be gutted if we get Catalan away (wouldn't be going and the club would get virtually nothing for it as its a poor gate).



Saints, Goons and Wires would see a decent away following from Leigh



Wouldn't want to us get Huddersfield away (poor gate and a shocking ground for getting a decent atmosphere) and Leeds would see another poorish financial return (and another poor ground for differing reasons - if it rains we'll get drowned !).

How important in the grand scheme of things was Riddy's Drop Goal?!!!

Catalan had 7k on v Eagles yestaerday. That's a good gate when you compare it to some of the others.

TV money is £20k - split between the home and away clubs. Who is left in that will be generous?



Also, gates are not good in this competition, until the final - especially with all games on TV. Nevertheless, with a 50% share plus TV money we should still get a decent payday, and one that presumably wasn't budgeted for!

Forget the game money, TV money and losing pay will make this more than worthwhile and make a huge difference to the coffers. No disrespect to London but they're the most winnable tie so let's get them at the LSV and give it our best shot. You never know.
