Not quite sure about Zero competition, some very hard & close games we just managed to scrape a win out of last season.
Obviously next season is going to be much harder as the quality of the league has improved dramatically, whole bottom 1/4 has gone & 2 SL sides have come in, there's more money going round for everyone and teams have made good signings. Still think we've improved on quality & gone full time means we’ll be able to finish up where we want to be. |

Leigh will obviously be better than last season but Im not sure if they will be better than London or Bradford though, it would be nice if they were.
Fev dont look stronger to me and could still see some of their higher earners leave before the start of the season if any teams are willing to pick up their wages. I think Sheffields time has passed and do not see them been any better than last year really. Donny I cant really say as i do not know what to expect with them, they wont have the spending power of other teams and maybe could get left behind but they have shocked us before so who knows. Dewsbury have improved and i think they will be the team pushing Fev and Fax for the 4th spot.
As for Fax I think we will be a lot better than last season, the change of coach has got the lads buzzing and its great to have a coach who actually encourages and builds confidence rather than one who is continually knocking it. Im really looking forward to seeing our overseas players play especially our two big forwards, we are talking 2 players who are well over 6 foot and can comfortably do 65 minutes and over 40 odd tackles per game. When you compare that to someone like Tonka doing 30 minutes and about 15 tackles per game that will make a big difference to our pack. If we are not still in the hunt for 4th with a couple of games to go I would be disappointed.
At the bottom we will see Haven, Batley and Hunslet battle it out for bottom spot.'"
Rovers are much, much stronger than last season 10 signings that are a level above the ones released will im sure ensure we at least finish 4th. Plus a full off season under hay we may not be full time but we have increased our training times by a considerable amount. No Probiz or the ex clown CEO to distract the players this season either, plus I know for a fact some cash been put to 1 side to see if we need freshening up mid-season. I will be putting a large bet on that we finish in the top 4 |

There is a cook Island international prop that the club haven't named yet and another 2 backs deals about done, so 11 not 10. Im sure with these additions we wont do any worse than last season which will see us in the top 4 |

Gingy , my friend , hope you are well?After our chat in the Fev Hotel earlier in the Season , I know you always say what you think , no matter what and I respect your views , however I don't think Fev will be as strong as the past few seasons.In my opinion I cant see you getting in the top 4 , look forward to our early game at POR .Charlie . |

I cant see it to be honest. Talking to a lad who knows the Leeds players well he does not expect them to be standout at this level and thinks theres a good chance they will be bit part players and this is just seen as a small step in their development, Leeds will decide what to do with them after this season.
I must ask the question if Fev have money put to one side then why are they so eager to offload their top earners?
I wouldnt bet more than you can afford to lose on Fev finishing in the top 4. |

Fev arnt off loading top earners at all there offloading players deemed not upto standard anymore. Just got rid of George Flannagan do you seriously think he was a top earner?? Don't forget we come 2nd and won 450k How much do you want to wager we will finish above fax again |

I never said Flannagan was a top earner, Im talking about a few of your more high profile players that are been offered to any clubs willing to pick up the wage bill. RFF knows............
£450K and still offloading high earners, not paying the taxman, and having to take an advance on monies for next season from the RFL. I think its a good job for this competition that Fev managed to get 2nd because I think its a better league with a decent Fev team in it and that would not have happened if it wernt for that money. |
