I think we have all accepted we are relegated but when a national newspaper is printing reports to the contrary we are going to think there maybe an escape from it. We'll all have to wait and see. Until the fixtures are published we can all live in hope can't we?

I think if the aim was to just win the league then I could accept relegation easier. Its the fact the aim is to get into the playoff and finish in best position so you can progress etc. Looking at league table and us in 9th (3rd bottom doesn't sound good

), and we are just a win and a draw behind being in the playoffs, but because of size of the league and 20% of teams get relegated we find ourselves in relegation.

Imagine chasing euro spot in premier league and just missing out, and punishment being relegation.

Championship should be just 1 team going down out of 10 teams. Why no one queried this before season even started seems bizarre.

Also I don't think many fans of other clubs would begrudge us staying up considing circumstances of points tally and being 9th (:winkicon_smile.gif.

Why not though? 2 teams are definately going down as per rules we all knew. League season has finished, so absolutely no reason not to confirm.

No we finished 9 th out of 11 , or 9 th out of 10 of the teams that can be relegated
