Acton will always be on the edge. He's an enforcer. It isn't a gentleman's game. The opposition are wary of him. Sometimes he'll get sin binned or red carded, but more often than not he'll soften the opposition up. Timmy Street was the same. Every team needs them.

We gave them far too much ball especially 1st half. We all know which team went out there to target players and try winding up tactics, if you're going to try to rough up our pack this year you're going to have a hard 80 min.

It is quite clear on CTV, Higson was very lucky to stay on the field and will be charged.

I don't think it was anywhere near as bad as the Dewsbury lads shot.

There wasn't much difference between them, they were both premeditated attacks to the head and deserved similar punishments.

Unfortunately i'd agree. Higson's didn't look great when I saw it from the far side yesterday. After seeing it on the Dewsbury highlights from the near stand it was a shocker. Would imagine both him and the guy who flattened Kes will pick up bans. Acton and Kurt Haggerty will be fine though.

I have to also agree having watched it on LCTV Higson's tackle is a shocker & will probs see him banned this time. The one on Ryan is also a shocker

Ouch, I have just watched the Dewsbury footage.

Not seen the footage yet, but there's a screenshot on Twitter and it's fair to say it doesn't look great.

Think AJ will be missing the Workington game so Pownall to replace him.



He had a bad game there last season so for more than one reason he'll have a point to prove.



AJ took an elbow to the face earlier in yesterdays game by his "victim".

Weird one Adams as the player took the ball and Adam hit him at a weird angle. Deffo straight arm though so would expect some form of punishment.



The one on Kez was a shambles.



Haggy's bin was stupid really, ignoring ref after mouthing off at him wasn't the smartest.



Think Acton got binned because he had wound up pretty much every Dewsbury player and the ref (though don't think he threw any punches even after the kez incident).



Grayston's trip on greg at the end after he knocked on was petty and he should get a word in his ear about that but looks like he got away with it.



We do seem to be collecting these incidents at the moment, hopefully it doesn't harm us at some stage later in the season.
