| Performances or results ?
We lost by 14 to a team currently in the top 3 ? , on the back of some decidedly ' inconsistent ' decisions against us
Not my opinion , but the opinion of neutral fans I was sat with
Maybe Hull should sack Radford ?
Some need to get a grip

Hull haven't lost 9 in a row, so not a like for like comparison. We lost by 14 points, but once it went to 12 all, how many felt we would actually win? We might not be getting thrashed, but we're also not looking like winning games, which means we're not really competing. For every 'inconsistent' decision, there was a stupid mistake by a Leigh player. We can't seem to cut these out, and we listen to the coach giving the same post loss interview every week.
I was realistic about chances of finishing in top 8 (slim), but also thought that Wakefield home & away, Widnes, Catalans were games I thought we would be capable of winning, while Leeds at home was also a missed opportunity, as we cannot win close games.

Unforced change in your opinion ?
So who do you want to replace Jukes ?

And we aren't a club that's spent nigh on 20 years in SL who won the challenge Cup last season and is expected to be a top 3/4 club this season , so hardly a like for like comparison is it ?
As for ' stupid mistakes ' , apart from Adams brain fart , what comes to mind ? , or is a Knock on by us stupid but for others it isn't ?
After Lui's knock on , Adam grabbed the ball only to be bundled into touch , but it was a knock on so his decision was right , except it then isn't a knock on , so what now , he has to mind read an official ?

Are you suggesting that Naughton and McNally are injured? Because left centre from the Wakefield game didn't look injured when playing full back yesterday. The guy playing left edge second row against Wakefield was also in the 17 yesterday, but playing down the middle. (In this case we've replaced a player in poor form, with a poor player). Completely changing the left edge was not forced on anyone.
I've not gone looking for a replacement for Jukes, but if I'd put the money in that DB has, I'd have started. Do you think he can keep us in Super league?

Question one - My point is, I'm not criticising Jukes based on one game, like you suggested with Radford. Basing it on a season so far.
Question two - Conceding the penalty for crossing after going 12-6 up. Losing the ball after a break straight after half time, the red card. Fleming's knock on after dropping on a ball was a stupid mistake. And yes, Higson running the ball into touch. Which leads me to;
Question three - I don't expect him to read the mind of an official. I expect him to play to the whistle. It wasn't a knock on. It went backwards. He needed to drop onto the ball and regain possession.

No I'm not suggesting they were injured , I'm suggesting that Jukes is a proffessional RL coach , doing IMO a reasonably good job in very difficult circumstances , he has quality support in his team of coaches and they are capable of keeping us in SL
Maybe we can entice Watson from Salford ? , you know , the one who was 1 tackle away from relegating his team to the Championship
Fine margins in this league , and fine marginal decisions going against you can have a huge effect on results , a new coach or 3/4 new players will not change that

Ok , point one , which teams have ripped us apart so far this season ?
Point two , watch the rest of the games , others make exactly the same stupid mistakes , some even win after doing it
Point three , the ref doesn't blow his whistle after a knock on , Adam saw a knock on , as did myself and pretty much everybody else I've asked since , nine out of ten , that's a knock on , Adam saw an opportunity in what he saw was a free play with a space to run through , if it had been a knock on and he had dropped on it most likely I'd be on here arguing with someone suggesting he should have picked it up and ran with it

He does make a signal / call to indicate free play, which he didn't make on this occaision. Assuming a free play just yards from your own line in a close game is idiotic. I didn't see the knock on, I saw a ball land behind a player, then watched with head in hands as Higson picked the ball up and ended up in touch.
Some teams make more mistakes than others, none make more than us. And we tend to do it just as we've got ourselves into a game (widnes and wakey at home prime examples)
I've said elsewhere (maybe on this thread), that both keeping or replacing Jukes could be seen as a gamble, but confidence in him reduces with every loss. Especially when it's the same loss over and over again. I'd rather get thrashed one game and win another than lose by 14 every time. It's still 3 scores, so not exactly a tight game.

As has been said earlier on it the thread, everyone is entitled to an opinion regardless of whether they actually saw the game or not or whether they're actually Leigh fans or not. However, whether you care to read what they write or bother responding to it is entirely up to you.
