Charlie is very optimistic for next season , though I did predict us to win the League this year

, however , with the signings we have made and the Reported rumoured signings about to be announced , I feel next year will be better than this one , Charlie doesn't know for definite who we have signed yet , but im told Salfordlad Knows

, course it was him that told me .

Oli has been great for us, sad to see him go. Pleased he's gone to Leigh though.

Larder and Wilkes were a fantastic back row for us in 2004. Welcome back Oliver

Wilkes Larder in the back row with Knott at 13. Very hardworking, they all were immense in 2004.

The Watcher remembers Wilkes with fondness, however this is a poor signing, its another Parker & The Watcher wonders how many minutes Wilkes will be able to put in.

Great to have Oli back but we can't afford to release any forwards IMO - we were short of big lads most of this season and considering we now have no Hoppy and Spenner's availability is as yet unknown, we may still find we're not much further ahead on paper for next season.



Not heard any news on Parker yet either - if he was to struggle to come back or even decide to retire then I'd say we're still short.



Still time though, and we're definitely heading in the right direction so I'm sure it'll be right.

Unfortunately Parker has definately retired

Trust me we won't be short on props next term and will have an awesome set of front rowers.

Wilkes is an athletic player and very fit who's just had a very consistent SL season.



Having played many years in the back row his experience will be valuable to us next term.

Oli scored a 90 mtr try this season in a SL match against Widnes not many forwards in this country can do that..He,s a top class signing and always gives 100 %

Blimey he,s more than likely faster than our back line lol

If you were to talk to Messrs Ostick, Parker, Spencer, Bate etc, they would tell you that ALL their tries this season, were 90 metre efforts!
