Having said that I had a good view from my position low down in the North stand and it looked a couple of inches short.

Im not a Briscoe fan ,so his inclusion at 7 was a suprise , but it didnt work for me ,Briscoe never breaks the line , doesnt tackle like Tommy Goulden or JT ,remember it was 12-12 at half time could have been 12-18 , when young Ryan came on the game lifted his Exubarence ,and Flamboyance is infectious , Riddy started running with purpose ,and visibly loves playing with Brierley , and Macnally started taking the defence on , all in all a fabulous second half , i thought Pownall returned the ball well having the confidence to take them full on,more please Leythers , i hope the Bullfrogs are next .

Briscoe has been one of our most consistent players all season, I think there's good reason why he gets picked every week!

Matt we all have our opinions ,ive watched the game again on Premier Sports ,taking notice of Briscoe , im not bagging him , but he doesnt break the line , is no Tommy Goulden at tackling , i agree about being consistant though , consistantly average .

yep me as well if i remember rightly he's one of only 4 ever present players this season

Briscoe like a lot of our other players is having a great season and I think our team has shown consistent improvement since the season started. PR and the coaching team are responsible and deserve big raps.

I agree about our improvement over the season , and nobody likes LOSING ,i also know about the team spirit which was evident at full time yesterday , i also agree about the Leigh public turning out in numbers ,i hope they do also ,keep drinking the Draught Complan, and scratching your Nether regions .

I'd like to point out that Craig Briscoe is only 19. He's still growing and he's certainly still developing as a player - look at his progress since last season. Breaking the line is an essential skill, (Michael Worrincy could do that) as are other facets of the game.



Given his progress in less than 12 months, I wonder how good he'll be in a couple of years?
