I too have mainly stopped posting on here because I despair at the 'Anti-Leigh' campaign that is obviously going on.



You can all dress it up and use all the petty excuses you want but the fact of the matter is that you're all causing irreparable damage to the club you profess to love.



I don't know anything more than you all do about the new Community Foundation but it's brand new and unconnected to anything from the past. The website is under construction (as is blatantly obvious to anyone who looks at it), but don't let that stop you from having a good old moan about it.



As has been mentioned, none of us know exactly what they're going to be doing so why condemn it before it even gets off the ground?



Some of you make me sick.

I going to ask all about it at the LISA meeting and report back on here.

I think all this came about because Fred said Ryan had been made redundant with the other apprentices, when someone asked if Ryan was employed by the Foundation.



Hope both are sucessful, my daughter was lucky enough to be picked from school to go to the new youth zone at wigan and it was fantastic, wouldnt it be great if we could get something similar at Leigh, and I think it is being looked at.

Andy you told us last week and the week before what you wanted before you invested a clean sweep off the board room a fresh start all new directors putting the same amount of money up front

Are you now saying this has happened because the club as been silent telling the supporters nothing

If the money is not a substantial amount from each director it will just be eaten up by the bills we have outstanding at present as you well know What the supporters want to know are their any new investors ? Or is this a spin off from the TDC

The team at present is brilliant but if we can’t pay our players and our wages we are in big trouble

We have axed the apprentices costing very little but kept our people on Good Money with a car on the payroll

Nothing has yet been agreed and while I can confirm I have been involved in the on-going talks nothing has yet been agreed or finalised hence no press release or statement at present by the club.



I cant and wont comment on any financial matters or perceived cost cutting measures that have allegedly been made as im not part of the current set up and am unaware of the facts.



Its fair to say the immediate task at hand for the new BOD will be to implement a new/revised short term business plan to cover any debt/ losses with new investment and hopefully this will be helped by our great fans reacting to a new era and coming out in numbers to help the club from now until the end of the season and then beyond to exciting times ahead.



Can I just state since holding talks with Keith Freer it has opened my eyes to the difficult job he has had and the hard work he has done along with Trevor Barton and others in making sure we still have a club to watch.



It is very important once any announcements are made everyone pulls together and supports the club in any way they possibly can. A big gate Sunday will help the club and as proved at Featherstone the players really appreciate and thrive on our support.

Andy for me there are NO BETTER fans than Leythers , like most who post on here , i am anxious to hear something positive , to ease the worries we all have , its human nature to get anxious , we just want to hear some sort of news .



As for supporting the Team i agree we need every single fan to turn out on Sunday show their support and appreciation for last weeks performance , and help make a good gate for the Club .

Who is on good money and a car mr north stand?

Also what is the substantial amount needed in your opinion?

Charlie I hope you appreciate its difficult for me to be saying anything at the moment and its not my place to say anything really just trying to assure fans things are on going.



Need a big gate Sunday that's for sure to build on the lads great efforts of late and great form.

As I understand it our coach has a car as part of his contact and our new commercial manager has a car as part of his contract these don't come cheap

In answer to the 2nd ? We need 5 new board members putting 20k in

Or 10 new board putting in 10k each

Or 100 supporters putting 1k in

I don't think this would clear our debts but would at least keep us solvent to the end of the season
