The past month or so a few teams have tried to bully us when they can't match us in the rugby department. We have stood up to those bullying tactic each time, and yes we've done some bullying of our own. We have shown now that we won't be bullied and each team that has tried has A) failed to bully us and B) failed to beat us. Hopefully now teams will realise its not going to work against us and try a new tactic as we can't keep losing players to bans due to it.



The only exception to this was probably the Fax game when we got off to a shocking start and we then started to bully them and throw them off their game. Difference is, it worked for us and we came back from 24 - 0 down to win! So maybe teams should be trying to bully Fax and not us because not one team that has tried so far has met with any success.

agree with that nozzy, i think the fax game is the only one we started the niggles in and it worked a treat.

The others we've had the opposition try it and not had the same impact. Hence top of the league

Given the strength of the squad could we make a case for some players trying too hard in order to keep their places in the team?

I have been watching some of the old games Fred has put on ctv to compare them to the modern game and my god I don't think any players would be left on the field at the end of the game with some of the punches thrown back then. Was those games criticised as much as they are today?

It was upfront in the day, most of the punch ups these days are handbags compared to years ago. What has increased in the modern game is cheap shots.

Just watched LCTV and I must say, Dewsbury were the better team for 60 mins. 20 mins of 'flair' proved too hot for them.



We are looking a little tired and jaded and I feel our first league defeat is not too far away.

But you can't feel the strength of the wind on Centurion TV.



I agree Dewsbury played well but everyone knew that an 8-0 HT lead would not be enough.

It's funny but when it was originally posted by - I can't remember who - he or she put " Leigh Tha Knows" I think. Would sound better with the gap between "tha" and "knows".
