So.... what was the last couple of months all about?

Nice win today, lets hope this is the start of the turnaround.

We may never know! I certainly cannot get remotely excited about this win. Turnaround? Far too late for us to make the Top 4, unless the wheels completely fall off one of the top 4 and they finish the season how we started it. And that's assuming we go unbeaten for the rest of the season, including away in Toronto and Toulouse. I do understand, though, why many will want to "keep the dream alive" and pretend to themselves that we have a hope.

Not a clue but something has changed. We've gone from leaking tries all game to nilling twice in a row.

And no blimd belief from me Maple. We have an almost impossible task now. Toronto need to lose at least 4, the rest at least 5 AND even then we need to be perfect. Likely ? Nope

Possible, if a team gets a key injury or two? Still unlikely but this league is throwing up some very interesting scores right now.

At last, something to enthuse about! At any level, against any opposition, nilling a team that enjoyed the possession and territory that Dewsbury did, is something to be proud of. The team spirit and togetherness was there for all to see - and it quickly spread to the North Stand.

Yes, Rochdale lost narrowly to Toronto this week. The problem is that warmer weather and better pitches will likely mean that the cream rises to the top, as the conditions will not be the equaliser they are currently. With a shortened season because of the Middle Eights, there is just not the number of games left to claw it back. It will be a little while, though, before we are mathematically out of it - assuming we keep winning. Feel sorry for all those who have paid multiple hundreds to come to Toronto! Perhaps I can take them and watch a game of baseball instead!

Will the game definitely be played in Toronto, 'maple'? Last estimate we saw for stadium completion was 29th June, and we are scheduled to be there on the 30th!



When the Wolfpack played at LSV, their players were far more familiar with the stadium, than ours were! If our visit to Toronto works out to be their first home game, they may be as unfamiliar with their stadium as we will be!

Was Jordan Lilley in the 17 or is he injured?

Step in the right direction long way to go yet let’s hope that we can start a descent run and let’s see where we end up. Would love to be there to watch the games but it’s a bit of a distance so rely on LCTV.
