It's all relative I suppose. Yes, they were young - and yet have 266 first team appearances between them, at SL clubs. |

If Wigan were "NEVER going to send a STRONG squad" why was it stated that Wigan would be sending a full strength team? (a full strength side is one they'd put out against St Helens, Leeds, Warrington in my eyes). Will their line ups against those teams match the one that played yesterday? No.
No auguring about the match up as Wigan's youngsters are the best in the country and it obviously made for a competitive match but as one poster has commented, he took his son thinking the likes of Bowen, Green, Smith, McLlorum, Farrell, O'Loughlin might at least feature. Shaun Wane wasn't even picking or taking the team!

You keep talking about wigans youngsters most of that team will rack up double digit SL games next season and was stronger than the ones they turned out in a few SL games last year

True. We've only got two players in O'Loughlin and Bowen over 30 and lads like Liam Farrell and Josh Charnley at 22/23 are some of our most experienced players nowadays.
I think Wigan played the right sort of side yesterday fwiw. It lead to a great game that will really benefit both clubs more then a blow out against a first choice Wigan 17 would do. Some of the lads that Leigh came up against like Hampshire, Burgess and Williams are future internationals IMO. They are the cream of the crop in this country but will gain a lot from playing against men yesterday and a side in Leigh that will win the championship this year IMO. |

All done and gone now but I agree with the poster above those 3 players will be Internationals in the not too distant future.

Had a call this affy from a mate who was in Corporate who said what did you think about our disallowed try just b4 HT.
I said it must have been forward otherwise the touch judge would not have put his flag up. He said he was right in line with it and no way was it.
Have just watched it 4 times on Centurions TV (about 41 minutes into the recording) and there looks nothing wrong with the pass either.
Is that touch judge a Pie ?
