I only spoke with Wayne a few times at the end of the game when we were down near the hoarding, he was friendly, knowledgeable and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing.

Sad to hear about Wayne. I remember him at school but sadly didn't keep in touch after that. He obviously shared the same passion as me for Leigh. Thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time. I hope that the club will honour him and all the other "Leythers" that have left us during the close season at the first home match next season.

Great bloke top sense of humour and a brilliant photographer to boot ,and apart from promoting the East and centurians , Wayne also gave up his time every year to help promote our annual charity golf day between the East and Miners our day wont be the same without him .
