The facts show without Drinkwater we struggle.Riddy has very little game time under his belt this season and not fitting into the role seamlessly at present along with others. Now the question is given Riddy needs more game time do you play him Friday? Even if Drinkwater is fit!



Granted the injury scenario isn't helping,but I do feel at present the coaches need to think out of the box a little on who is playing where.Consistency at present can only be gained by having a consistent squad in consistent positions. If that comes at a cost then they know they have no option but to strengthen.Players in stands don't win games.

Why not bring AJ inside to centre & let Naughton or Hampshire have a run at wing ? I mean, AJ is a big lad, built like a centre & tackles like a centre (apart from last Saturday), that way Mitch can go to FB where he has done a grand job so far.



I too believe injuries are hurting us, got to look at those out & say most are 1st choice players, though I also agree that the 17 from Saturday could have killed Widnes had they applied normal standards & smarter play.



Won or not, Widnes are [i'P00P'[/i & headed for rock bottom.



Not Derek's fault either as someone else has said, down to the 17 on the pitch.



Interestingly, Gaz Hock apologised on twitter for letting the fans down, that despite him being one of the few leaders that played & battled hard for a win. Matty Dawson also tweeted about hard work to do. Gaz was one of the very few who don't need to apologise for that display on Saturday & Matty D another who at least worked really hard.
