lets hope thats the end of all the negative news and the club can come up with something positive for us all to see .its been a bad few weeks with very little to shout about

Can't really see Baloo staying to be 2nd to another new coach. Does make me wonder if the club knew about NB and have suggested to Baloo that he might be the one to take over, especially with the Bulls scenario?

I am relieved it is out in the open. Everyone knew it in th eclub and on this board. Good luck to him and i wish him nothing but the best when he goes back to OZ.

so our coach is leaving, our captain/leader is leaving, there's rumours kev brown could be going back to wigan,anymore bad news to come out of the club?

now it's all sorted lets just hope that EVERYONE gives 100% until the end of the season and send them off on a good note!

All I can say is thank you for everything you have done for the club since you arrived. You and the team got us to Wembley for a major cup final and it will be something I will never forget in my life time!

Thirded, and it says something about the man that he's prepared to stay on until the end of the season and not leave the club out to dry, in what must be some tricky family circumstances for him.

I'm not a Giants supporter but will be sad to see Brown go.



Seems to have done wonders on the pitch for you guys in the short time he's been here (not sure if all the credit is his or not) turning you into a top 4 club.



I think his honest/straight talking interviews are a breathe of fresh air compared to most of the namby pamby cliche stuff you get from most coaches.

I've mentioned his name with regards to a few posts over here on the boards, but former Souths coach Jason Taylor may be a strong candidate. He has some TV work over in Aus, but not currently a head coach. Arguably his achievement of taking Souths to the playoffs back when he did was comparible to Brown taking St George to second given their relative starting points.



Sad to see Brown go. He'll find a very different NRL from the one he left, but shouldn't have a problem getting work.
