Not really, convenient Mason would be struck down so could not be selected as so many other times this season, but accepting that point reluctantly, why not replace him with a prop such as Walker or Tonks, even Orwell?
Why play 4 hookers? Absolute pigheaded stupidity. As per my opening post I am right behind the players but want a coach who will pick them in positions to do themselves justice |

remember when we had Eorl, Mason, Griffin, Jackson, Raleigh, Snitch etc fighting for places .....and now we rarely have 3 props in the 17 !!
what was the point in giving Tony Tonks a contract ? we dont even use our recognised, experienced props so this lad was ahrdly gonna get a look in !

tonks and orwell are injured still i think
cant see what walker did wrong when he had his chance..impressed in pre season and in the games he played early on, but the prop department we are short all because we let griffing go  |

Scott Moore had a decent first 15-20. He looks to have leaned down a bit. I wouldn't say much more than that.
But at the same time, those 17 could have won the game last night. They were extremely hesitant in defence and that didn't help at all.
