With it being so close at the top of the table mate i'd have said it mattered today to keep up with Wire. As it happened a win would have put us clear. These lacklustre performances against the lower clubs could cost us a home draw in the play offs with just 1 game away from Old Trafford.

Summat for Nathan to sort out,we weren't good today,some of the fringe players didn't impress much.



Luke O'Donnell,Doof,Fooey etc to come back though it's no worries.

Well the body language in these games suggests they aren't pumped up for the game. Just my opinion of course.

It's a view I think a number of our fans had, I heard a number of Giants fans saying that we'd still win this easily at half time.



I felt slightly arrogant of them and clearly they thought all we had to do was turn up and we'd win.



Not a view I agree with, we were making alot of mistakes, you could see the players were trying their best to fix, but despite their efforts it did not materialise, then again alot of the games played today were close and riddled with handling errors (even the Leeds game was close for some time), the weather was always going to make games tight.

at half time when someone said we'll still win this i said we wouldn't as we didnt even look like scoring let alone winning....still, we didnt get nilled thats the only positive i think !!

One thing that I did learn from today and it confirms what I have thought from several years of seeing him as a junior is that Kyle Wood is not a Super League standard player.

You sure about that,I wouldn't be so quick to write him off.You are judging him on one game back into the first grade.



He's got a lot going for him has Kyle in terms of ability,if you can't see that well it's just your opinion.

Totally down to weather conditions today. We only had Robbo backing up and he did better than most. The squads put out today by all the top four clubs should have won their matches. The conditions just made the games a lottery, and we should have reverted to pre super league winter time rugby tactics and not overplayed the passing game.

Are we finally getting around to giving Wakefield some credit.
