think you and others are being a tad disrespectful to a certain fullback we signed???? Obviously personal opinions vary and we all have our favourites but Id say it was pretty close and wouldnt like to call it!!!

If Giants can come to an agreement over 2 players coming the other way then the deal is done - that's the reality of it. At 33 we have certainly seen the best of him and if the club are being offered a good deal then it would be hard to turn it down whilst Brough still has some market value.



Great player, loved watching him. But maybe the 'Brough-era' is over.

It may well be that this is nothing but idle speculation and people feeding others rumours and fears ( me included).



If so i am relieved as Brough is still our best player although only the second best i have seen after Brett Hodgson and just ahead of Brad Drew !!!!



What i would give to have those two back in Giants colours now !

He's been the best and most consistent player we've had in the SL era. As captain he's second to none and leads the team by example and should be installed as soon as possible. Yes he does have quite a lot to say but going off some of the decisions we've had over the years by the refs then who can blame him as any of us who know rugby would do the same.



Hopefully these rumours will stop sooner rather than latter and it just concerns me how Giants fans can start such rumours when in the long run it will affect our team no end and make us a lot weaker. Once Brough is retired (hopefully still a Giant) from the game I'm hoping that we retain him as a coach as he's got a hell of a lot to offer with his experience, skill, reading of the game and his excellent kicking which should be retained and handed down to future Giants players.

I wasn't meaning to be disrespectful in any way. I rated Hodgson very highly, he was a class act, Felt much the same about Drew and DeVere, but all that said, IMHO Brough has had more influence on our performances than any of those three, There has been many a game where without him we wouldn't have scored a point. And how much effort has he saved the forwards with his boot.



If he has to go to Hull I wouldn't accept anything other than a deal that involved J Shaul, but then what say do we have. Another thing is People are talking about him as though he is going to fall apart in 18 months, What about J Peacock, and arguably the best forward in modern times S Menzies, Brough has some years in him yet.

Not sure hes coming to hull but if he did j shaul wouldn't be coming to you guys, j Thompson and another? if a deal can be sorted,

Great long term prospect Shaul I wouldn't expect Hull to let him go anywhere, I wouldn't let Brough go anywhere either unless it couldn't be helped.

according to some luke robinson has said on radio hes in talks with us? might be bulls.it who knows
