In my view the closed shop of SL has made it a bit too cushy.

The intensity may be there, but all 3 former SL teams Leigh have beaten have shown signs of capitulating under pressure.

Well done Leigh first of all. Great commitment and determination to playing good rugby. No fluke that they mullered us that first half - even though we were still on the bus or might as well have been.

As for the Giants - we totally got what we deserved and the final score flattered us. To concede 40 points in the first half was pathetic. Fed up now of all the platitudes from the coaches and players. We keep hearing how positive the team feels in that things are getting better, how aware we are of the challenge that these Qualifiers pose, and how we are striving to get that right. Well that is fine but that has to transfer to game day.

Without the desire to work for each other, play for the shirt, and actually play some rugby then god help us. We will have no chance in the mpg as we have no heart, and the players just do not care I am afraid. Relegation looking more likely now and to be honest we deserve nothing else.

Yes,a shambles. We hear all this crap about how they are playing for their livelihoods,and we are supposed to believe that they feel like that?! Probably 2 or 3 of today's team would be with us if we get relegated,and that is only because they would have no super league options as they simply aren't good enough. The big problem in that team is attitude. They put in minimal effort for 50 minutes,and that's being generous. They STILL look ridiculously out of shape, put them next to their opposite number from Leigh today and just look at the difference in their physique,it's embarrassing. They are very well paid athletes,but would be out of breath after crossing the road.

And to top it all off,the good old giants faithful fall for the measly 20 minutes of effort and rush down to pitch side to slap hands and pat backs of the players at full time. You could see brough was embarrassed to come over and join in! Not a good day, and I fear much worse are to come.

In that first half I was embarrassed to be a Giants fan, hope some of those players who have forgotten how to play Rugby League felt the same. Suppose it's simple now, win our last 2 games or potentially lose your jobs.

How big is Huby? He never looked like that at Cas.

Quote on Giants website is "Stone disappointed with Leigh performance" - getting really angry now with the dross comments every week - same old stuff as trawled out by PA - try being honest more like EMBARASSING, HUMILIATING, PITYFUL, RIDICULOUS, TRAGIC etc... We have no chance while we hide behind all this crap such as players being back available next week, will work on it this week in training bulls#it comments. Whoever is back next week won't matter - players wanting it will make the difference and that has been a season long issue that is sadly too late to change now.

Contracts nullified and THEY can negotiate to play in superlegue -some on abetter package than theyre on Brand new start for them --and brand new start for giants having to build it up all over again !!

Believe me if that happens after 68 years of support I might just not bother - and seriously there could be other "old codgers" feel the same sadly

When the club nearly went into admin and hadnt the resources to strengthen at least the likes of Senior Kenworthyand co gave it there best shot and personally played with some pride.

This season theres been none --or at least for"one half!

Lets face it --I get on great with most fans I know on here and know I frustrate them by being "pess---sorry realistic but many of them worry and frustrate me with thyere blind faith. Yep theres still an outside chance of automatic promotion to avoid the dreaded - and the MPG but bloody hell - I think KD himself needs to get the WHOLE playing/coaching staff in a room /knock some heads together and spell out what he and the faithful fans and the CLUB need from them At the moment there isnt a glimmer of pride in evidence in half of several games as I said WHY??? KD ought to be given some tangible reason and for all concerned GET IT BLOODY SORTED

I'm a Leigh fan and think Huddersfield are the best and most dangerous super league side we have played in the middle 8s. Leigh are playing very well and you ran us very close in the second half. I am in no doubt you will beat Hull KR and Leeds and remain in super league. My guess is Hull KR will be in the championship next season.
