But might make a great hooker

Hasn't made the squad, with players in his position making their SL debuts while he sits at home.....tells you all you need to know.

He hasn't the size for a centre.

nor the speed!

I wonder if we will have any players left at this rate?

No idea what Powell etc. has seen in him if true. Not SL quality for me

Good ball-handling skills. Can't tackle. Too small for a centre.



But if Daryl Powell can see a way of developing him into something useful, well - he knows the game a lot better than I do.



EDIT: Above is too damning. He actually has a very good "classical" tackling technique, no doubt learned from years of Union coaching. Problem is that he doesn't have enough bulk and big SL centres just bump him off.

Better coaching will see him improve a lot, IMO.

He's like the rest of our squad. Brilliant some days & shocking on others.

Channing has never been brilliant for us, nor has the team this season!
