No they meant actually onto the ground itself, they were genuinely surprised when I said our last home game was less than 300. Main thing they talked about was lack of turnstiles etc. They did mention a game with a decent crowd around 2000 with more capacity avail. Never got into what if anything they knew about increasing capacity with permenant or temp stands

How are they getting away with having a ground without a turnstile? Swinton and Oldham must be fuming as they have both been told they need to make improvements to their grounds

The RFL have never operated a level playing field.

what have Oldham been told? I thought part of the problem was the state of the playing surface as much as anything.

Oldham were refused permission to play at Whitebank in tier 2 next season. I believe one of the issues is off pitch facilities for the players.



I can think of a few 3rd tier grounds that don't have formal turnstiles so presumably they aren't required at level 3 and Broncos getting ground grading suggests that is true at level two.

Code for urinating with the supporters?

Cowgirl, as the rfl have cleared trailfinders for use by the club at the level we are playing at then that obviously is not an issue

So Trailfinders has no turnstiles, one bog & precious little else in the way of facilities.



Do Oldham & Swinton play on roped off pitches or summat?

Maybe, but think of the earbashing we're going to get from Oldham supporters (Swinton's ground has been passed) when they find that we've been allowed to play on a ground that's not much better than the one the RFL said that they couldn't use!
