Think you're right about this being a lower level venue. As such, it looks fine. I doubt we'd have any difficulty in persuading the RFL to let us use it as a one year only SL venue.



Far too inaccessible for me but handy for folks arriving from northern latitudes down the M1.

Looks a nice ground for a Championship or SL2 side, with potential to be upgraded and as such could be a good move, and a decent looking bar for those who break out in a cold sweat at the thought of having to watch us sober (which I'd imagine is just about everyone at the moment!). Might get a one season exemption on the ground capacity, unless we're dropping down into the Championship next year - which wouldn't suprise me as we patently can't cope at this level the way we're going at the moment.

Would not surprise me if we got a special dispensation to play at a smaller venue for the last year.

Making Daivd Hughes pay for 10,000 empty seats every week is a strange reward from the RFL for the man keeping SuperLeague in the south going. Barnet, Orient or New River all have better transport links than Twickenham and could do the job at less cost. By definition they are not better stadiums than the Stoop, but need a bit of reality here.

another thing I forgot to add in my list of positives is that the Hive is a top class training facility. It'd knock spots off anything the Broncos have at Roehampton I'm sure

Anyone got anything more solid than just a rumour about this? Seem to recall we had speculation about Leyton Orient recently that in the end amounted to nothing.

As a lifelong Arsenal fan, I have been to Underhill on numerous occasions and I can confirm the rumours that it is a complete sh*te hole!

Not seen the Hive but it has to be an improvement on Underhill
