I first started watching Broncos as I thought it was great to watch some top class league in London. This may be my only chance this season, I will be there.

I really dislike the Pies and will not go to their ground but why castigate Ian Lennigan for leaving the Broncos. If my memory serves me well from a discussion I had with him he wanted to stay with LB but the RFL would not allow him to have a shoe in both camps. He is a Wigan born boy so he would always want to pursue his dreams and own the club. We all have dreams we want to follow but following LB is a dream not working at the moment.'"
Yeah sure, we seem a million miles away from SL level and more nightmare than dream, hadn't realised that I had castigated IL, well at least not his time! BUT IF this game attracts a few new London speccies wouldn't it be good for them to know that there was a London team ( albeit a Championship level one) where they could get an RL fix? Even better to have seen them play ahead of the main event? Or maybe not in present circumstances? 
Seriously though this is what I would consider as being 'working together'. At best we might have an ad in the match programme, or maybe even a few flyers given out. This is a top flight game on our manor and I can't see us doing much to promote ourselves at it, other than this cheap tickets for Wigan fans offer. But then again self promotion hasn't been our strong suit of late eh? All I can see is this match promotes Wigan ( and fair play to them for forward thinking- I never thought IL was a fool) and shows young London players that there is a pathway to the SL - just involves a few hours drive up North! If this game is deemed a success will Wigan keep an an office in town so they can keep an eye on their feeder club?  |

Why is this a disgrace?
Presumably Wigan are paying rent to Hemel so they win. Hopefully Hemel will give out free tickets to the participants, which may help them grow their gates. It may just encourage a few people from RU backgrounds to try the sport. In turn that may generate players for the likes of Hemel, who didn't run much in the way of youth set up last season, and St Albans.
The chances of someone of that age range commuting to Wigan for training are tiny. Unless a family re-locates any talent discovered is likely to bolster southern RL for the short to mid term at least. Beyond that, anyone willing to relocate is likely to sign for Wigan Academy over any southern academy anyway, irrespective of where they were discovered.
Anything that gets youngsters playing RL down south will assist the southern RL system. As the apex of that system Broncos could potentially do quite nicely out of any expansion in southern talent base. The known issues with persuading people to move south make such development even more important.
