This playing 2 matches on one day is stretching our non existent back room staff beyond what is reasonable. I wonder if someone told us that the Academies League plays on Saturdays and we fell for it?

Broncos applied for Elite Academy status and got it. It needs to be backed up with appropriate funds and resources. As far as I know, home fixtures are played on Sunday which on a couple of occaisions so far clashed with first team. However, the fixture that got cancelled was not one of these.



We also chose to run a reserve side which not many other Championship clubs seem to do.



Of course, if we were still at Trailfinders all games could have been played at the same venue.

But this way, we're making thousands of pounds more in the corporate hospitality suite........

Well we will not be facing Kieran Dixon on Sunday.. He has been sent out by Leigh to Widnes, on a two week loan.

It’s surprising how many of the players we have mislaid over the last couple of seasons are not regular starters or even irregular starters at their new teams. I hope our management are monitoring this as we need some more quality in the side. Having said that I’m unsure whether 2 weeks loans of good players are more disruptive than helpful unless to cover an injury rather than quality deficiency. Imagine being bumped for 2 weeks and then brought back in. It’s not like the player has improved...it’s pretty much a vote of no confidence .

Hi Orangeman, has it been confirmed that it's home advantage for the team finishing top? I can't seem to find that info anywhere.

Coleman’s thoughts are now on the website. I’ll leave others to digest but one minor point if anyone from the club is logging in. Is that photo of Coleman really the best we can do? To me he doesn’t look confident/positive etc but rather confused/unhappy/ angry/broken. I can understand that only too well but is that really the image we want to present to the world? I’m sure it’s a 5 minute job to fix this going forward and get a more constructive picture on the go.



Talking of poor decision making I have signed up for the OURLEAGUE stream. I think it’s worth supporting the initiative although whether what I see will entertain me is open to debate.

I had a look as well and couldn’t find it but I could swear that this is what they said would happen. Either way it will be played in Featherstone or Leigh I suspect.
