| I may have missed it among all the other discussions going on, but did anybody go on the coach from The Stoop, and if so, how many were on it?

Nope....you didn't miss it......I believe it didn't run!
Lowest ever gate in the Capital for the Bulls was in 2008 and was 2,534. we won 22-0 that day....I belive the low gate that day was down to the game being played on a Sunday.
Interestingly, it was of only 2 games that season that had attendances that began with a "2".......the rest were all considerably higher....there was a "6" and an "8".....
Fast forward 4 years and we are gushing over our 3rd "2" as something to be applauded.....

Quite probably.....they have been very very very active since this game was announced. The effort they are throwing into this event could quite possibly put certain professional clubs to shame....but I am naming no names

I'm a firm believer that with so few home games in a SL season that every game can be individually marketed as an event, and with such a low target to break even (approx 5k) selling tickets aggressively on the ground would transform the club. Well done Medway.

| I dont think so. They have a 2000 seater stand to themselves and would like to sell it out but would be very surprised if they sold it out. Hope they do!

If they get even half way there then it shows what hard work can achieve

| there's no denying that the Dragons are putting in the work. What they've achieved so far in their short history is phenomenal.

This is pretty much exactly what the NFL does - each team has 8 home games - with the 13 we have, spread over a longer period, we should be doing the same.

Even minor league baseball teams do this in the States with free gifts for people who turn up early & themed nights such as chili cook offs.
It must work as most of these outfits, which are essentially youth teams, have crowds in the region of 7-8,000.

H'mm, but aren't they mostly based in small towns, each miles from the next one, where there's nothing else to do in summer (carnal desires aside) from going to the ball game?
Hardly the London scenario, but maybe we should turn to baseball.
