As for career moves being smart.....I would say that the Exiles would be a step up in salary and security compared to the Broncos.

19's and dual reg meant that there was always going to be a difficult pathway onwards. Very short sighted decisions last year.

Not sure what the future road is for the game? we will have to wait to see what is decided at the EAGM next Wednesday, currently there seems no real plan in RL for youth, it's all down to cost saving, which with youth development is short sighted.

Championship clubs will reap the benefit of super league coached youngsters this coming season.

That may well be the better viewing for spectators.

Just a shame lots of hard work and talent may be lost to championship/union or just lost!

Upset last night a chat with an Under 19 of ours completely devastated when told he is not needed from Monday, that was the reason I left St Helens and changed to Fulham RLFC back at that first game, I was in charge Under 16's team, a really talented player was signed for Saints Academy team, second season he was captain and voted player of the season, the same night at the presentations, he was told he was being released, went playing pub football!

Players get released at each age group at every team in every sport every year - Fact of life.

Yes! I don't deny it, but its the way it is handled that counts at the end of the day!
