I think that the rule is if the ball is kicked and hits the referee and it significantly changes the path of the ball to one teams advantage (like this did) then a scrum should be awarded to the team last in possession, which was Wigan.
He definitely gave it to us first though and then changed his mind which he isn't allowed to do. Right decision in the end though and had us all a bit puzzled.
The team this year are useless, I think J O'C has improved this year, but I don't like him playing fullback, it all went wrong from his knock on, but every player had poor moments.
And hopefully castleford away is our next win in the league! |

| I was at the game friday night and on my return today was asked about Calderwoods performance . Ok he scored a walk in try but looked to have as much pace as i have and i am a little bit older than he is  What i did notice at the game was the one time he tried to run at the defence with the ball he dived into the turf a metre before a tackler got to him .Some of boys say that Wigan should have been awarded a penalty if the ref had seen that and some are saying differantly so im sure one of you guys on here can clear this up for us . |

spot on!...i can tell you it was a bit lively in the sheds after the game,though some strong words from senior players and some unhappy faces...can't go into details ..obvious reasons.

Just watched the Superleague show and seen how easy Wigan went through the line. I think the team needs more than strong words and glum faces.
