| His kicking was excellent yesterday. Split their defence to make our second try. The players seem to look to him. He played well.

| Hughsey said in podcast today 'Soward highly likely to be here next year'
No decision until end of season
Ground will grow to super league standard should we go up. Planning already in place
Best ground we've been to. Trailfinders accommodating
Gym brilliant standard that Broncos built

'Scuse my scepticism but I'll believe the SL standard ground in Ealing when I see the first sign of it appearing!
DH avoided the 'how are we going to do it' question at the fans forum last year, has he been any more enlightening of late ?

| The podcast was taped yesterday post the middle 8 draw- Rammo the BBC London guy did it
He said we would spend up to the SC if we went up also and that he would pay for it. critical if you want to survive
He also said!! he is working closely with 'Ian Henderson' (Rammo gave a warning about this!!) on purchases of players. Culture is important, Hendo workaholic, London unusual in that its different but players buy into it quoting Soward, Edwards, plus many more
Club set up for super league minus marketing which isn't justified in championship but would be put in place in SL
He's been goading Mac about game at Ealing.

| If Jamie Soward is to be coaxed into staying, then David Hughes needs to ensure that there are 4 SL quality props in the team, to provide the go forward that Jamie can exploit, and two quality centres for Jamie to work with.
The new rules on salary cap, to be announced sometime this year, will enable David Hughes to spend to the SL cap while in the Championship. So London Broncos can and must look more like a SL team if Soward is to stay.

| DH should do this, DH should do that, we need this and we need that and DH should dig deep. Can someone explain where he will find the money to do everything these people want. He is a wealthy man but even rich people have a limit to spending power. Be grateful for what he does on his own.

Yeah but lest we forget he's largely responsible for the mess we've found ourselves in of late, eh?
Probably why folk want so much, because of the rubbish we've had to put up with the previous 6 or 7 seasons!

| Back to the old arguement as usual, 2 schools of thought here, the one above where apparently it's all his fault, or the other view is at least we are still here which is thanks to him.
2 choices a team competing in whatever league we are, or no team at all.

Micky, he's run the club single handedly since Lenegan's departure, who else does the buck stop with?
It made be an old argument but it still applies!
To his credit he's kept us full time when he could have walked away, but if DH isn't responsible for our predicament then who is?

| You don't get the argument do you, agreed he has single handedly run the club and it's because of him it's where we are.
But without him we would not be where we are because we most likely would have been consiged to the history books same as streatham Kent Invicta huyton Blackpool psg
Which would you prefer

Whilst I agree with the sentiments, we cannot expect anyone to pour more money into the club despite past mistakes? I agree we need more props we all know it and assuming Thackery retires and Slyney goes back to 0z then we have a huge hole to fill!

| Let's get the 8s out of the way see how we get on and go from there
Next season is a long way away, club are securing contracts and getting signatures on contracts already, yep some will go but then they always do.
As for putting money in, what will happen in the future will happen, I hope dh is planning his succession who that will be and what form it will take goodness knows but until then dh is what we have.
