Obviously this is with current squad and with the injured players not included, Madge might include the new youngster earlier than we expect into the team but as things stand that would be my selection

No Roberts? Or isn't he going to be fit?

Think Roberts will get the nod on the wing before Charnley. Also think Prescott or O'Carroll will make the bench also. In place of Tuson I would imagine. We'll see how things go with the Pre Season games first,

oh i forgot roberts would be fit in time so yh id switch charnley and roberts

Got to agree with Jeff that Prescott/O'Carroll will make the bench ahead of Tuson, I reckon it'll be Prescott, but obviously it all depends on how they perform in pre-season. Although in my opinion both need to step up now and show what they are capable of.

I think Prescott stepped up at the back end of last year and put in some really good performances. O'Carroll is going to have to go some to take his spot in the team.

for me next season the player who needs to step up and perform is micky because i cant see deacon lasting a full season so tommy isnt going to be hooker all season so micky needs step up and show he cn b the starter!! madge started him in GF so maybe he will start the season with Tommy at 7 and deacon on bench

Yeah, I think against Leeds he showed what he can do, just needs to be that bit more consistent for me, I reckon he can step up and cement his place. Competition between him and o'barrell can only be good for the team though!

why dont you expect him to last the full season? hes only 31 years old

Because imo he wasn't fully fit in all the games he played last season, as shown by the fact he didn't kick for goal in the gf.

He will pick up injuries next year, as he is getting on, but to say he 'won't last the year' is a tad harsh. Most of the games he missed this year was due to selection more than him being injured.
