| First visit to the Stoop for us, and decent performance and millions of Wigan fans made it a great atmosphere and enjoyable all-round experience...
But...and I don't usually moan (honest)...our gang had plenty of complaints about Quins RL 'experience'.
1. Ladies toilets were 'disgusting', back to the Central Park days and worse, they said.
2. Ale (bitter) was horrible, flat and nasty tasting.
3. 'One of the longest bars in Europe'...they are kidding, right? Maybe they meant longest wait to get served.
4. Post-match 'party' with no seats in said longest bar? A long stand then.
5. "One of the best days out in rugby league, and perhaps in all of sport..." "Slightly" over the top, we would say.
OK, some of those ridiculous claims come from a 2006 Wigan fans guide to Quins RL. So maybe it was ok in 2006. And they have since made things worse?

| Disagree.
Can't comment on the ladies toilets but gents are better than most grounds.
Ale, I was drinking the lager, no problem.
Considering the amount of people in there I thought the service was o.k.
Post match party was superb, it was worth staying on for just to watch Brian Telfords performance on stage. I'm 62 years of age and didn't mind standing.
Along with Catalan it's my favourite away trip.

| Always a good day out imo.
Nice ground, normally nice weather, Quins fans very knowledgeble about RL (as you would expect, coming from an area where only the "fanatics" watch the game).
Quins fans also very friendly ^ see above.

| They need Beer Carriers!!!!!!
Best thing I like about Quins is the freedom to roam about. It's a little hark back to the old days's when you could move about (change ends stuff like that) amongst the other fans. With all these modern stadiums your mostly trapped into your own stand and sadly freedom of movement in grounds is dying away.

Good point. I spent about 5 mins on the corner stood waiting for a friend. Nice to be able to do that without stewards ushering you back to your seat. Made for a more relaxing experience.

| I liked it. Decent ale, certainly better quality - and choice - than you get at the DW, and as Bilko said, the freedom to roam about is great.
The problem, though, is that freedom to roam and chat and everything else that was going on in relation to Rob Purdham's testimonial, meant that I saw hardly any of the match, and I subsequently haven't a clue who played well or even what the final score was.

| Only gripe I had with the day was that they should open the gates near the car parks earlier so we can get in and have a couple of extra pints.
Other then that it's excellent. We stayed at the ground till around 7.45-8pm iirc and had a cracking time.

| If the ground was as full as some of the other grounds in super league then it would make the experience much better. The small crowds often spoil the atmopshere.
Other than that you can't really fault it.

| I think they have a pretty decent set up at the Stoop, especially when the weathers good. Saturday was our second visit and again we had a really enjoyable day out. Friendly fans, good atmosphere, decent facilities and it's easy enough to park which is always a bonus. Wouldn't say it was my favourite away trip but it's definitely one of the better grounds.
Only fault I found (apart from the Ref of course) was the lack of pubs & restaurants around the ground, well within walking distance anyway. We got there quite early hoping to find somewhere for dinner but had no luck really, we had to plump for the old faithful (burger & chips from ground), but other than that no complaints really.
