Dont think the annoucement was planned to well having the Warrington Chairman (Was he wearing a syrup?) in the Sky studio.

Should have been like it was before, all behind a desk, chairman and coach. It was a farce Smith not being there. A little arrogant dont you think? Would have been great to get the reaction of each coach after the annoncement.

I was having a slash unde the south stand when I heard the announcement.

If it was Maguire who did what Smith has done, these boards would have gone into meltdown. Hell Maguire imposed a media blackout and they did.

To be honest i think it was rather disrespectful of Smith not turning up. No matter what we all think of it, it gets media attention. Smith might not like the club call, but he has a duty to help promote the game, if he doesn't like it, go to a call centre job, 8 - 6 5 days a week.

In a funny way it was good to see the coaches and chairmen all getting on during the game. I really think they all wanted Wigan to slip up tonight. Was good to see Madge wave after the game, i am hoping it was in their direction to say its not over yet.

Behave.. i found it rather funny watching Brian Mcdermott scratching his head looking like his world had ended in the background when Maguire was talking.

They should have let Nigel Wood make club call.........................its his gimmick.

Maybe he has decided it would be better to have a media blackout?



Surely it's better that the coaches and players do their talking on the pitch than to the media?
