All the above plus theres 'the Raven' nr B&M run by Danny flynn ,Paddy Flynns brother who plays for Widnes .Should be decent in there game days and on route to match

Real ale suppers amongst you might want to try my mate's pub, The Turk's Head. It's not all that near the ground, though, being about a mile out of the town centre on North Road, but it's worth a visit early doors, with plenty pubs between it and the ground.

There's also the Royal Alfred right by the station.

I think I'm joining the merry band of goons to the Turks Head (Real Ale).

Basically there are numerous places to choose from. I hear the Imperial's alright so long as you enjoy getting smashed on a night out.

How far is the new ground from the centre? Closer then Knowsley road?

its no more than a 10 min walk from the train station to thier stadium.

From the station 15 minutes tops if you go the slower way over the nice new bridge, but that's just cause you are walking at the pace of the slowest group.
