In the second half a large number of our fans were clapping les cats after they scored. I know we were crap but I don't understand the logic of clapping for the other team? Yes they played well, but they didnt play a world class game of rugby. IMO as a supporter you support your team, fair enough you may shout at them (I know I did) but why would you applaud the other team? Are we going to start doing that for every game that we lose, or is it because they came all the way from France?(they didn't, they stayed in Manchester all week)! When dureau put over the drop goal our fans clapped, they'd have booed long or briers if they had done the same

We were dreadful and they were good (maybe not as good as we made them look, I'm not sure), but Wigan fans are surely Wigan fans?



Maybe I'm in minority on this I don't know, but I wouldn't clap the other team. No matter the score I still support Wigan, whether they are playing saints or Catalans. Only at Wigan would you get the home fans clapping the away team for beating us.

I tell you why I and many others clapped them, because they turned up! they played with passion and desire and showed respect to the people who had payed £20 a ticket to watch them.



Wigan did no such thing and completely direspected their fans and I hope that hit home because they were a disgrace tonight.

I always applaud a good try no matter who scores. Not as vigorously as when we score though.

I don't see a problem with applauding the opposition. I bet it winds the players up too.

Fair play, I'd probably do the same if a great try was scored. But I don't think any of their tries were really great tonight, and the drop goal....

I'll applaud a good try and I'll applaud effort. If I pay to watch some rugby, if only one team shows up I'll applaud the team that plays some rugby! Catalans didn't need to put much effort in, but they did. Got to give credit where it's due (although they did slacken off towards the end and make it slightly more respectable).

I didn't applaud Catalans, I didn't boo us either. Both made me cringe.
