What do you think the team vs Barrow will be?



The most important thing IMO is to give rests to some of our key players. Lockers & Sam deserve a rest and I'd be tempted to rest older guys like Deacon and Carmont.



Other than that Roberts, Marsh and the three dual reg players should get games. The first two, Roberts & Marsh, should be in to rest Carmont and Sam and the three musketeers deserve a first team call up. Crosby has impressed and been the 19th man a few times. Mellor, IMO, is behind schedule having not had a first team game and this seems right.

I think the team I've posted sort of hits the balance between strength in depth and taking the P.



Bringing in guys like Roberts & Marsh shows the talent we've got. Guys like Crosby & Mellor have, IMO, earned a first team game this season.

IIRC Last season when we played Barrow Madge put out his strongest team. I won't be surprised if he does so again.

Best team all the way. We are crap after a break, we need to keep momentum. We were poor after having a week off every time last season so i would only rest the players who are injured.

Yeah, I think he'll do the same, but I hope he rests some of the players who are carrying knocks - Joel might not be fit, and Hoff & McIlorum looked to have injuries, hopefully minor ones.

Agreed Matty; even with our strongest side out we didn't exactly blow them away.



I'm all for bringing in a couple of those arguing for a place from the Alliance side but the whole side would be disrespectful and almost asking to be turned over.

Throw a couple of fringe players into the 1st team, not too many to disrupt the flow but enough to rest the 50/50 injuries we have.

I'd rest a couple tbh as we will win this game regardless if we let a couple have a rest or not. I think Carmont is due a week off and Hoffman was carrying an injury today. I'd also give Coley a week off after a heroic start to the season.

I too feel we should be looking at resting some players but not too many, we are not always that good at home and Barrow put 43 points past Halifax at Halifax today.
