Glad we've got ISC and Magners on board and very happy Bitcon is saying. Looking forward to our new coaching line up.
I'm not jumping out of my skin about signings though. I think we could aim a lot higher

Im absolutely fuming about JT possibly turning his back on his hometown team like judas, but thats nothing Wigan can control. A very sad day but if they dont want to play for Wigan they can get stuffed as far as im concerned.
Would like to see us sign another prop and DEFINITELY a centre.

With the money for JT, we could actually offer a transfer fee for a quality NRL centre. I'd take Kenny-Dowall certainly, plus as a Kiwi he'll still get rep honours here.

I have noticed you have posted similar throughout the last couple of days and i agree with the point i think your trying to make.
Even if we received 1 million from any proposed transfer, in the short term we will still be weaker as the we are bound into a very restrictive system that simply does not allow us to recoup a similar standard of player.
The situation stinks. |

From this you could infer that if JT is thinking about moving to RU, it less about money & more about testing himself on a bigger stage. Lets be honest, he's won the hubcap, GF & CC not a lot left to prove in domestic RL
I would be sad to see him go but good luck to him!

It's not quite a fair comparison, because there's a massive difference between a sporting job and a 'normal' job like you or I do. Realistically, he has a lot of uncertainty about how much he'll be earning past the age of 35 ( if he's lucky ), so the factors he needs to weigh up are different. Not saying he's right or wrong, just that I'd find it pretty hard to get seriously angry with the guy. He's bigger than me anyway |
