This has been the worst era in my 36 years as a fan. It easily eclipses the Millward era. Lam has had 3 season of very talented players and coached the skill out of them. Another zero on the scoreboard and absolutely no surprise that we have completely choked in another big game. Smith was again completely anonymous, Partington again offered absolutely nothing and i am just hoping by some miracle we can get some attacking play back because i have literally been bored to death for 3 seasons. I would say Thank you lam and goodbye but just goodbye will do.

That was poor, can’t really fault the defence but so bad in attack. Says a lot when the best kick of the game was done by our prop!!!

Our most dangerous player was sat on the bench for an hour.



Awful.

To be honest I'm not really bothered about the defeat - I've never felt like that before and I don't see that changing for next season. There's nothing to get excited about - Lam, Radlinski and Lenagan have sucked the joy out of the club.

It is not down soley to Lam (although he has been bad) any coach would struggle with that squad - so many bang average players, the over promoting of youth is killing us with too many players with no rugby sense at all. I have said it before but I will state it again we are the dumbest rugby team ever - five drives and a crap kick and give away stupid penalties and invite pressure. No leadership on the field whatsoever. Awful. We look like a bunch of amateurs.

I’ve never been happier to lose. So glad I don’t have to watch us for 5 months.

when you start playing as a kid you are taught to draw the defenders in , create the gap and then pass - how many times was it catch and pass and a defender was no closer than 5 yards - left to right - easy to defend.

It's hard to look forward to next year being any better, there's nothing we've seen from the signings announced and the rumoured coaching appointment that excites me in any way, shape or form.

The Oxford United fan warned it would end up like this thanks to Leners single mindedness of trying to run a sports club as a business

We are in a big transitional period now.



Smith, Hardaker, & Partington in an ideal world without contracts can follow Lam out of the door.



Thornley will be an upgrade on Gildart who has been shocking this year.



We are desperately in need of another Prop, an additional centre to Thornley, 2 halves and a 9, that’s on top of our current signings.



This is a 2/3 year fix due in the main to the awful management of our leadership team.

This is fixed by everyone from owner to water-carriers leaving. If we are going to rebuild somehow, do it properly and gut the place.

Defiantly need a 9.
