Both games have been absolutely dire, i've turned off at half time both times. Cant imagine what it must be like for any neutrals who hardly watch Rugby League.



Just shows the top 8 is NOT working. Outside about 4 teams the league is just dying on its .



People will argue that we need to keep the top 8 so that teams have something to play for but thats not the case, teams like Hull KR will consider this season a success despite finishing 8th and getting bummed in their only play-off game.



The standards need to be set higher.

I didn't watch the KR match last week when they qualified for the playoffs but I have seen a couple of pictures this week of the team celebrating with the team photo & Justin Morgan pulling faces..



My thoughts as I saw them;

'celebrating SO much for JUST getting in the playoffs (in 8th was it?)???

My god, our sport is on it's aris'

Most fans will say they want a top 5/6.

Give the fans what they want.

for me, bin the play-offs, the top two teams at the end of the season play it out at Old Trafford to win the crown. Bring in an extra couple of teams to keep the season the same length.

Just watched the NRL playoff highlights, after switching off Cats v Hull KR, Aussies are still light years ahead of us, I fear for the Internationals at an empty Wembley .

Maybe should go back to top 6.



was just thinking of a way of whoever finished top is straight into the gf, then the other teams battle it out, but its hard to come up with something that makes sense.

1 - straight into gf

2 - first week off

3 vs 4



then the winner of 3 v 4 v 2 then GF

Awful. Absolutely awful... We need to go to top 5 or 6. There is no excuse for a team in the bottom half of the league managing to get the change to fight for a place at OT.

but the nrl had a top 8 when they where 15 teams meaning a bottom half club could win it ?

Two awful games so far. Let's hope tomorrow is a similar blow out.

Very disappointing. You can see that the teams have switched off now that the league has been decided.

I'd definitley go for whoever finishes top goes straight to the final
