We'll still have a decent team and are quite capable of winning. It will be exciting to see how a few more youngsters perform - a big responsibility for Hansen, who I presume will be captain. Goulding will be the 2nd most experienced Wigan player and I hope Lauaki plays a leading role too. Looks like it will probably be the youngest ever average age for a Wigan team, certainly in living memory.



Maybe Bilko can assist here......

First choice 1,6,7,9 and 13 probably missing.



It'll be very interesting to see how we go in this one.

What a cracking opportunity this is for the young guns, thats the youngest Wigan side ive ever seen play a super league match. I wonder who will get the captains nod?? I salute you Shaun Wane for having the balls to put such a young side out, go get em youngsters.

Definitely Hansen and if he is subbed at any stage, presume Goulding would be captain - this confirms what a young and inexperienced team it is. As others have said in other topics, it is actually more exciting to go into this game with an understrength team and see how the young guns perform. I wonder what Eddie and Stevo will be saying......! We've now got more injuries than Saints and Leeds.

I expect them to take the "Fielding a weakened team" line myself.... I'm not expecting a win, but will be good to see how the team goes, and who stands up.

Seems like 12 months ago when Wane did the same against widnes ..................... and we lost !
