The reason the fans are daft with each other on here is down to respect. I know that sounds wierd, but I think both sets of fans realise how good the other team is which leads to a bit of fear in a way. It's only natural, it does get a bit out of hand on here at times.

Wigan slipped from their position of dominance to a pale imitation of their former selves. From the dominant force in the sport in the 80s and 90s to, relatively speaking, also rans. Relegation battles, home play off games on the road and David Valeliki in the centres.



All that's gone. Wigan and Warrington compete as equals. Of the last 4 trophies on offer, 3 have gone to the two clubs with surely at least 1 to follow this season. We'll be competing all season for top spot. It's a huge game for both teams. To suggest otherwise, or to pretend it's just another game is laughable.

You can't wait until Friday, I just want to get it over with. I hate the build up to these matches. There's always the same idiots on both sides of the fence who want to points score. You can usually predict who they will be. A bit of banter and a good laugh is great, but some of the stuff on both this Board and ours is a disgrace and those posting it should be ashamed of themselves.

), but I think we can agree that this is great news for RL and evidence of Wigan's big home support and Wire's excellent travelling support, which in their different ways put almost every other club to shame.

Our away support isn't as great as people think. We take loads to the near places but not much to others. I know Saints and Wigan travel in bigger numbers further a field. If that makes sense.
