i was chatting to a player today about pre season . He said that they were pushed to the limit and beyond . one player actualy put his hand up in one training session and stated he just could not do any more.

Don't know about secret weapons but comparisons to our likely opposition seems to give us an edge.
We will have the three signings from Oz and maybe a rumoured further signing.
There seems to be a possibilty that Gaz Hock could return sometime in June.
That's four or five top class players we've not had this season.
Saints have recruited well with Perry, Shenton, McCarthy Scarsbrook and Soliola playing a full season. They could also be a younger squad than this season due to those going and their arrivals.
Wire are getting older every season. Hodgson 32 replacing Mathers for one. 10 or 11 of their first 17 next year will be 30 or over. Next year will be a season too far for one or two of them I reckon.
Leeds haven't recruited anyone as far as I can remember. Eastwood going and Peacock returning are their only positives with McGuire coming back 12 or so games into the season.
Hudds are ones to watch. A well coached squad will no obvious "stars" Will get into the top four IMO at the expense of either Leeds or Wire.
As for a secret weapon? Our coaching team will be better, the first team will improve and our younger players will push for first team spots giving competition for places which, again, will raise standards.

Maybe thats why weve done so well? The players probably found matches easy compared to pre season  |

In 2011,(pre season) I'm guessing that player will do that & more 
No 'secret weapon' just a focus on greater fitness & team unity. |
