To be fair, he did run over from quite a way out before the other players realised Yeaman was throwing punches.
Also, for future reference, head high tackles on a player running at full pelt are either
a) According to a Hull fan, a gust of wind/being shot by an imaginary bullet and totally legit.
b) According to the RFL, penalty sufficient. |

Running in from a distance is a different offence, and although in this instance it didn't happen, so would striking from behind afaik.
But yes, fighting has generally been regarded as an on-field issue, beyond those who start it. |
