I agree. I can understand some fans seeing an opportunity to give him stick early on, but things have moved on now. He seems to have fit in well at Wire and he's a quality player on his day. It's like most topics, once it stops being relevant it stops being funny. Not that many of the chants were funny, whilst the dog barking is just embarrassing.

What would be really funny would be if the Wigan fans gave a big cheer every time he got the ball. He would be so confused.

Don't be so bloody soft. If it was the other way round, do you think fans of other teams would give one of our players an easy ride? Would they 'eck. At the end of the day, he deserves all the stick he gets.

The barking doesnt even register anymore it bothers neither us or him. Theres always a few 'comedy geniuses' that do it (as there will no doubt be on friday) but the avalance of abuse that was predicted thankfully hasnt materialised. Hes a decent guy who made a stupid mistake and has traveled the length of the planet to make a new start so give him a break and be glad we've got a quality addition to the super league

Not just our fans, I think an element or every teams fans will do it, when it really isn't funny or clever.
