It's happened a fair few times in the South Stand!... Knew whatever it was it would be bad when they put over the tannoy for people outside to move for an emergency ambulance that would be arriving.

Hardly surprising.



Sad news especially if you are right and he was with his Grandson. Although he won't be thinking of it now I hope the pair of them were at Wembley for the cup final and the Grandson will have happy memories of watching RL with his Granddad.

Blimey...that's terrible! Condolences to his family...hope he didn't have youngsters with him!..that's not something you want young kids to see!

i am sure i speak for all supporters by offering my sympathy to the chap who had heart attack tonight. we have won the league tonight but pales into insignificance. Once again my deepest sympathy.

I saw it from the bottom of the south and after that I couldn't get into the game or anything. So awful to have that happen. RIP and my condolences to his family

Was talking to a steward in the SS bar after the game and he told us that the guy had unfortunately died. Apparently he was 41 and it was his 12 year old son who was with him. Condolences to his family, especially his son, for whom it must have been terrible. R.I.P

My god....that's just awful.

bl00dy hell..that's one year older than me...makes you realize you have to get on with life and enjoy it as much as possible.



His poor son...that's not going to be easy to get over.

41 is no age to die. Feel so sorry for his son, how scary it must be to see that happen to your dad, especially at such a young age.

I'm sure I sat behind this bloke and his lad only a few weeks ago. I've certainly seen him at a couple of home games this season and thoughts must really go out to the son and the rest of the family.



Hopefully Wigan will have a minutes silence for him next week.

I am sure they will. The club will be aware of this and unless is family have any objection it would be very fitting.
