It would have been a travesty if Hudds would have made it to the final. As soon as thier owner pulls the plug that club will hit free fall. They hardly have anything to write home about in regards to youth development and they don't have a big enough fan base to sustain themselves.

I was saying to the people I go with - everything for Hudds was going right. They were challenging, in my opinion, the best player in the league who was tackling EVERYTHING rather than going after the other centre who's 19 and incredibly inexperienced.



I'm glad they did, but it was baffling all the same.

Gildart put a cracking shot on Cudjoe early on. He does look a bit slight and will need to add a few kgs in pre season but he certainly hasn't looked out of place since he's been in the first team, and he's there as much on merit as he is on Gelling's recent loss of form IMO.
