| Pleased about Deacon but Pryce, can't see it at all.
I've tried, I've supported him but I think he is a lost cause.
Hope I'm wrong and will hold my hand up if I am.

| It's a long season and as such on occasions we need a large squad to cover injuries, loss of form...etc. If Pryce can get us 12-15 tries again as cover next season then that will do for me. Granted he ain't no Greg Inglis though.

| Quote Cruncher="Cruncher"Have you considered that Pryce may be costing us very little?
I could understand your annoyance if the club were trying to sell him to us as a big signing, but at present I'd imagine he fills a neat little gap on the register. And if Maguire and Wane still want him, then I'm willing to give him another go. They've surely proved by now that they're nobody's mugs.'" How many games has he played the last 3-4 years?
He's rubbish end of if we want to keep winning games and big games we dont need players like him in our team he just gets injured all the time like eastmond off saints
I said at the start of last season i'll eat humble pie if he plays well and rips it but no pie here fella and there wont be this time next year, let me quess everyones argument 'he scores tries' he might do when he plays but our wingers where top try scorers last season so dont need the guy

| He's just not good enough. I could have scored all of the tries he scored last season. I have yet to see him beat a player. If anyone can please remind me of the match.
Can a player be too big. Well, I think he is.
There are many men who are 6' 6" but how many of them play rugby league, either here or in Australia. I've seen a few but they are never any good because they are too slow off the mark.
I remember IL saying he kept Pryce last season because he was afraid Saints might get him and he might come back to haunt us. If Pryce hadn't got a famous brother he would not be at Wigan.
I've been told that he doesn't train hard enough which doesn't help.
Maybe he will prove us all wrong and we all hope he does.
Good news about Deacon. Hope he can stay injury free.

| At the end of the day Madge thinks he's good enough so no matter how much the Pryce haters keep moaning their opinion, just like, mine counts for nothing.
Madge wants Pryce and in Madge we always trust.
He's signed it so time we got behind him.

Agreed.
I'm a Pryce fan and feel he does have something to offer the team.

| I'm also happy with what Pryce did for us last season.
He came in when we had a few injuries and played well and bagged some good tries in the process.
I'm more confident with our ability to cover injuries with him at Wigan rather than him not being there.

You forget that whatever he costs he must be one of the top 25 paid players otherwise his wages will come out of the £55K set aside to give young players a few games in the first team.
He does not deserve to be in the top 25 squad and he certainly should not be getting in the way of younger players who I can guarantee will all show more desire and application than he as ever done for Wigan.
I certainly do not see how him being re-signed fits in with the ethos at the club of having to play for your place.
Dare I suggest this was an IL and not a Madge/Wane decision because I can't see why they would want a player they gave a chance to and then consigned to the U20's re-signed.

| I'm all for expressing personal opinions but when it gets to the stage of repeating the same BS we've heard over & over again enough is enough.
The BS posted about Pryce is sometimes laughable. For example a few posts up it's claimed Pryce doesn't train hard enough!!
Do we honestly think Madge, Wane or even IL would resign a player who doesn't put 100% in during training? We've seen what values our SL title win was based on and they certainly didn't allow for anyone who gave less than 100%. Just ask a firm fans favourite like Feka to confirm this.

And who better to form a valid opinion?
I actually love the fact that you try to lay down the conspiracy theory that IL made the signing and not the coaching staff.
If you do not agree with it fair enough, but don't be silly.
Our coach has been given total support from IFL when it comes to recruitment, the notion that because you do not agree with it hence it cannot be a coaching decision smack of yet more Dave O, trying to find a negative/be controversial, which sadly has become your trademark in the last year or so while posting on here.
